Next week’s Payment Facilitator Day – an entire day of content by, for and about payment facilitators at ETA’s TRANSACT conference – promises to be a wealth of informative conversations for companies in the space or considering it.

The lineup of experts includes innovative payment facilitators who are leading the way in the PF market, as well as investors who have helped payments companies strategize and grow their businesses.

“The event is shaping up to be another great success, with world-class panelists and a fabulous opportunity to expand your knowledge and network with your PF peers,” said event organizer Todd Ablowitz. Ablowitz is president of Double Diamond Group and publisher of PaymentFacilitator.com.

The theme of this year’s event is A Closer Look. In a session titled “Through the Looking Glass: The Life of a Payment Facilitator,” leading PFs will share their stories and talk about the challenges they have faced – and how they have solved them. They will also share the opportunities they see coming on the horizon.

This panel is moderated by Kevin Harris of RunSignUp, and includes:

  • Christopher Rhode, Member Planet
  • Mike Phelan, PaymentSpring

In a forward-looking panel titled “Opening the Aperture: A Look Forward to Growth and Opportunity,” Ablowitz will moderate a discussion on where the payment facilitator market is heading, and the trends that will affect the future.

This panel includes:

  • Ned May, Napier Park Financial Partners
  • Roy Burns, TA Associates

These latest panelists join previously announced participants, including the following acquirer and processor representatives for “Under the Looking Glass: Sponsoring Payment Facilitators,” moderated by Mike McGirr of Adyen.

  • Justin Corum, Elavon
  • Matt Schrey, Wells Fargo
  • Mark Bishopp, Bank of America Merchant Services
  • Shane Fitzpatrick, First Data
  • Mike Cottrell, ProPay

Representing the compliance space for the panel titled, “Under the Microscope: Staying Ahead of Compliance and Regulation in 2017 and Beyond” will be:

  • Kim Ford, First Data
  • Jonathan Genovese, Vantiv
  • Holli Targan, Jaffe Law

If you’ve been on the fence and haven’t yet registered, now is the time to do so. The event is open to payment facilitators or those considering the model. You can find more details on the event’s web site.
